What to expect

Booking & Getting Ready
To secure your newborn session, a $100 reservation fee is required. This fee is not additional but will be deducted from the total collection price.
You'll book your session based on your baby's due date, and we'll schedule the actual session within the first two weeks after your baby is born.
After you've made your reservation, I will send you a PDF with our Newborn Session Styling Guide. This guide is packed with clothing, styling, and prop tips to make your preparation easy and stress-free!
And if you feel like you are in need of assistance even after reading my Styling Guide, I'm always happy to help you!

Your Newborn Photo Session
My lifestyle newborn photo sessions are ranging from 1 to 4 hours in length. These sessions are designed to capture whole family! Which means that any and every combination of people you want in a photo together will happen during your session. The possibilities are endless!
We will begin with some posed portraits first. Then I'll encourage a more relaxed portion of our session, to give you a chance to have fun and make some new memories while I capture some candid photos.

After The Session
All my Photo Collections include a Pinterest-style online gallery of retouched high-resolution digital images with the rights to share on social media, make unlimited downloads on unlimited devices and print at the place of your choice — or through my professional lab at great prices.
Your gallery will be available online for up to 3 months from your photo session date. You also may purchase extra hosting time for your gallery at any time.

When should I book my newborn session?
I recommend booking your newborn session during your pregnancy, ideally in the second or early third trimester. This ensures I have availability around your due date. We'll schedule the actual session within the first two to three weeks after your baby is born. I do not recommend waiting longer, simply because the baby won't look like a newborn by the end of the first month.
What if my baby arrives early or late?
Don't worry! I understand that babies have their own schedule. If your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, just let me know as soon as possible. We'll adjust the session date accordingly to ensure we capture those precious early moments.
What should we prepare for the session?
After booking, you'll receive my Newborn Session Styling Guide, which includes tips on clothing, props, and how to prepare for the session. Make sure to have extra diapers, wipes, and any special items you'd like included in the photos. If you need any additional help or have questions, I'm always here to assist!
How long does a newborn session last?
Newborn sessions typically longer and best if they last between 2 to 4 hours. This allows plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and capturing a variety of beautiful images. I prioritize a relaxed and comfortable environment for both the baby and the parents.
Do you edit all your pictures? What does the editing include?
Yes, I personally edit all the pictures, ensuring each one is cropped, color-corrected, digitally processed, and enhanced to perfection. If needed, I may also do more complicated creative retouching on certain images, including skin retouching for babies. My goal is to make sure every photo is a beautiful representation of your newborn's early moments.
What does “printing rights” mean? Do you release printing rights?
A printing rights give you a permission to reproduce the images in different types of media. And yes, I release the printing rights for personal use, which means you can print, share and give away as many photos as you like to your family and friends for as long as you desire. All the images will be yours for the rest of your life and you’re free to print them anywhere you like.

To book your photo session I require a signed photo agreement and a $100 reservation fee. This is not an extra fee, but is deducted from the full collection price. The balance is due to the day of the session.
